It is often said by some in our country that even the developed countries of the world are economically affected by the Govt epidemic. You may also have heard of it in foreign news. Not only in our country the economy has collapsed and the cost of living has gone up.

Yes, it is very funny to see politicians doing that. Because it is not surprising that people who do not even know the world or their hometown tell such a story. But it is a world joke that the strong politicians of the opposition who want to build the country and those who are arrogant about foreign countries say this.

Before making fun of our country, let us know a little bit about the economic crisis that even the developed countries of the world are facing due to the Govt epidemic.

With a global epidemic like Govt, it is not surprising that countries like ours, whose dollar-based economy is depreciating, could face economic crises. It is not good to rely on such a dollar economy. But we can only say that it was not President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa or this government that created this economic crisis. As far as we know, President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is trying to stop the import of even the most easily manufactured goods in our country and bring in our own production of them. Our country has to face this crisis because our rulers have not created such a system for so long.

If President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa can stop giving billions of dollars in imports even for goods that can be produced in our country, then we can gradually recover from this crisis.

The economy of our country has collapsed and the cost of living has risen due to the need for dollars to overcome these crises. But do things like this happen in a country like America? Will something like this happen to the United States, which holds the world record for printing the most dollars in the world after the Govt epidemic? This is because a country like the United States, which handles the world in its own dollars, does not need to import dollars. The United States can deal with dollars in its own country, even if there are no diseases like plague, not Govt. Even so, millions of people have become beggars, millions have lost their jobs and the cost of living has skyrocketed.

So how can a country like Sri Lanka escape this disaster and save its economy?

The highest inflation rate in the United States in the last 40 years is now recorded, where commodity prices have risen by 6.8%, food prices have risen by $ 30 a week, and perhaps people are starving for food. But this situation has not yet occurred in our country.

In fact, despite the rising cost of living in our country, people are still living in peace in some way. Do not stand in line to buy goods. Those who stand like that also have money. No civil servants lost their jobs and the salaries of civil servants were not cut.

People in our country live by doing something. While many people in the United States are losing their jobs due to Govt, there are plenty of job opportunities in our country. There are plenty of wage jobs across the country that are visible to the working people, without looking at the people wandering the streets. Even if you work for a normal wage a day, you can get a salary of 2,000 rupees. But does it work? Anyone can be a graduate, but if he loses his job due to this epidemic, all he has to do is make a living doing something else. Is it right for him to leave it and blame the government?

At a time when the world is facing a major crisis due to the Govt epidemic, some in our country are trying to show that this crisis is taking place only in our country. Do not be immersed in the stories of liars like this. Everyone here has many problems. But these problems were not created by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. Realizing that the President and this Government are trying to save the country from this crisis, we will try to do our best to live without burdening the State. When such an epidemic occurs, our service to the country is to support the Government's efforts to resolve this crisis as much as we can.

Only then can we overcome this crisis.
